Summary

Anker says the F3000 only puts out 120 V by itself; getting 240 V takes two F3000 units joined with a Double Voltage Hub. The F3800 Plus delivers 120 V and 240 V from one unit, up to 6,000 W. The F3000 holds 3,072 Wh and the F3800 Plus 3,840 Wh, and both take their own expansion batteries.

The F3800 and F3800 Plus share most of a name but not their solar voltage ceiling, 60 V against 165 V. The F3800 Plus page adds that its 240 V output cannot be used while the unit is charging from 120 V AC.

Connecting to the house through the Home Power Panel

The F3800 Plus has an "HPP & Generator Adapter Port" rated 6,000 W at 120 V/240 V. Its Storm Guard automatic backup before severe weather and its Local Energy Saver bill-reduction feature are both marked "Home Power Panel required." The page's FAQ asks whether the unit can be recharged from rooftop solar through the Home Power Panel during an outage, and answers "No." The F3000 page does not mention the Home Power Panel; its bundles pair it with expansion batteries, panels, or a second F3000.
