Portable power and solar generators
Where Does a Bendable Solar Panel Belong, and How Do Two 100W Models Differ?
Summary
On curved or weight-sensitive surfaces such as RV and boat roofs. Renogy sells its 100W flexible panel for off-grid systems in transportation uses like RVs and boats and says it bends within 240 degrees. Bending is not folding, and neither manufacturer's page describes rolling or folding the panel for storage.

|---|---|---|
| Bend limit | 240° | 270° |
| Weight | 2.4 kg (5.3 lb) | 2.1 kg (4.6 lb) |

The output warranties are the widest gap, five years against 25. Renogy says its panel weighs a third as much as a rigid panel, and its FAQ advises against walking on it. BougeRV files the Arch Pro under curved panels on its store, apart from its foldable line.
Voltage is a product detail
The open-circuit voltage is 23.5 V for the Renogy and 37.8 V for the BougeRV. Two panels with the same 100 W rating can therefore sit very differently against a power station's or charge controller's input limit. SolarPanelX does not rule on whether specific devices work together; the manufacturers' specifications for both sides decide that.
