Two Power Stations Hold the Same 1 kWh, So Where Do They Differ?

Summary

At the same capacity, the gaps show up in port output and in how many solar inputs there are. EcoFlow's DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Plus both store 1,024 Wh and deliver 1,800 W AC, yet USB-C tops out at 100 W on one and 140 W on the other, and the Plus has two 500 W solar inputs instead of one, which EcoFlow says refills it from sunlight in about 70 minutes.

Solar input is where the Plus pulls ahead

Each DELTA model accepts 11 to 60 V at up to 500 W per solar input. DELTA 3 has one input; the Plus has two, and EcoFlow rates it at a full charge in 70 minutes with both in use. On DELTA 3, a larger array still enters at 500 W at most. Jackery's Explorer 1000 v2, a slightly larger 1,070 Wh unit, takes up to 400 W across its two DC inputs.

The everyday ports

Between the two EcoFlow models, the small ports change the most. USB-C rises from 100 W to 140 W, though the spec table does not say whether that maximum is per port or shared across both, and USB-A doubles from 18 W to 36 W. Capacity, AC output, surge, and weight are the same on both.
