Which Power Stations Take an Extra Battery, and How Far Each Brand Lets You Go
Summary
Expansion runs from 286 Wh to 53.8 kWh depending on the brand and the base unit. EcoFlow stacks one Extra Battery 300 on a RIVER 3 Plus for 572 Wh, and lists four extra batteries for the DELTA 3 Plus. Jackery's packs are model-specific and it names six stations that accept one. BLUETTI sells the same B300K pack under three listings, one per base unit, at three prices. Anker's F3000 reaches 24 kWh and the F3800 family 53.8 kWh; EcoFlow's DELTA Pro 3 reaches 48 kWh. The catch in every case is compatibility by exact model, not by brand.

Three things that go wrong
- The name matches, the model does not. Jackery's support article, updated August 6, 2026, says expansion batteries are model-specific and not compatible with other models, and lists Battery Pack 2000 Plus and Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 as separate products for separate stations.
- The same pack costs a different amount depending on which listing you buy it from. BLUETTI's B300K appeared under three prices on the same day, and a member price under a fourth.
- The cable is part of the system. EcoFlow's DELTA 3 Plus list specifies the XT150 cable for all four packs; check whether it ships with the pack or the station.
When expansion beats a bigger unit
Expansion keeps the inverter you already own and adds hours; it does not add watts. A DELTA 3 Plus with an extra battery still delivers 1,800 W, and an F3000 with a BP3000 still needs a second F3000 for 240 V. If the problem is a load that will not start, the answer is a larger base unit, not a pack; if the problem is the second night, a pack is the cheaper route.
