Can You Compare "4,000 Cycles" From One Power Station Brand to Another?

Summary

Not on the cycle count alone. EcoFlow rates the DELTA 3 Plus at 4,000 cycles to 80% or more of its capacity, and Jackery rates the Explorer 1000 v2 at 4,000 cycles to 70% or more, so the same number ends at a different point. Of the five units below, Goal Zero was the only brand that stated its test conditions.

EcoFlow footnotes its figures as internal test results that vary with temperature, humidity and equipment calibration. Anker's spec table says "3,000 (80% Capacity)" while its bullet list says only "3,000 Cycles". BLUETTI's AC180 page does not agree with itself on weight either, giving about 16 kg in the spec table and 17 kg in the marketing copy.

Charging temperature

Jackery lists 0 to 45°C for charging and -10 to 45°C for discharging. Anker lists 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C) for charging and -4 to 104°F (-20 to 40°C) for discharging, BLUETTI lists 0 to 40°C for charging the AC180, and Goal Zero gives 0 to 40°C as the operating range. The lower limit for charging (for Goal Zero, for use) is 0°C at all four. EcoFlow's DELTA 3 Plus page lists no temperatures.
