How Do You Claim Maxeon's 40-Year Panel Warranty Now That the Company Is Under Judicial Management?

Through the installer. Maxeon's site tells system owners to contact their solar installer, who does a site visit and submits the claim. The 40-year product and power terms require digital warranty registration and installation by an authorized Maxeon partner; otherwise the 25- or 30-year warranty applies. A Singapore court placed the company under interim judicial management in April 2026, and nothing on the site says how that affects warranty claims.

The warranty document and the company's status

Apart from the utility-scale (UPP) warranty, the warranty page lists the "Maxeon Limited Warranty for PV Modules (DC)": 40/40 years for Maxeon and 25/25 years for Performance, Rev G, effective May 1, 2026. The warranty claim page still shows the previous Rev F, effective April 1, 2025.

For power, the FAQ promises no more than a 0.25% drop per year, and the footnotes give 88.3% in year 40. The datasheets listed with the 40-year warranty are Maxeon 6 (DC 410 to 440 W, Black 410 to 425 W, COM 450 to 475 W) and Maxeon 3 (DC 415 to 430 W, Black 405 to 420 W, COM 470 to 485 W).

Once the owner calls, the installer completes a claim for a replacement part on the owner's behalf. Maxeon partners file through the claim form on the site, and the support team takes questions at 1-833-490-0398.
