How Is BougeRV's Yuma CIGS Panel Different From the 100W Arch Pro?

Summary

The Yuma 100W is a CIGS thin-film panel with 17% cell efficiency, against 25% for the Arch Pro 100W, so it needs about a fifth more area for the same rating. In exchange it bends to 360 degrees, BougeRV says it is safe to walk on, and it sticks down with adhesive and no drilling. The Arch Pro is an N-type TOPCon crystalline panel that bends up to 270 degrees.

The Yuma covers about 1,108 square inches and the Arch Pro about 923, so the Yuma takes roughly 20% more roof for its 100 W. The two weigh about the same. The Yuma FAQ puts the tightest bend diameter for the 100 W model at 9.4 inches.

Where BougeRV's own pages disagree

The Yuma's thickness is 0.06 in in the spec table and 0.08 in in the product copy. The FAQ gives the size as 26 × 44.3 in, which does not match the table either. The copy says mounting is adhesive with no holes, while an answer in the 200 W FAQ mentions pre-drilled holes and grommets at the corners. A punched version is sold as a separate model, at 43.1 × 27.1 in and 3.24 lb.

Prices shift by where you look. The Yuma 100W product page showed $209.99 in an end-of-season clearance, while the store's product data for the same item listed $249.99. The Arch Pro 100W is $149.99. The Yuma page claims up to 38% more energy than conventional monocrystalline panels over an 8-hour cloudy day, without saying what the comparison was run against.
